Este fin semana (22 y 23 de Diciembre), se ha celebrado la edición 2008 de Jump Festa, una evento que realiza cada año la editora Shueisha para promocionar las series de sus revistas como Shonen Jump o V (Virtual) Jump.
Así no es de extrañar que editoras japonesas de videojuegos aprovechen la feria para anunciar novedades o enseñar demos de sus juegos.
En el festival acudieron grandes editoras japonesas de videojuegos como pueden ser Nintendo, Square Enix, Namco Bandai y, por supuesto, Capcom. La cual expuso Wii Love Golf y presentó un nuevo juego para Nintendo DS llamado Rosario + Vampire, basado en el manga/anime del mismo nombre; que saldrá al mercado durante el 2008.
Se realizó una demostración de Devil May Cry 4 bajo el software de Xbox-360, donde el carismático productor del juego Hiroyuki Kobayashi explicaba características de tan esperado título. Fue un acto de lo más concurrido y los asistentes tuvieron que hacer una cola de 150 minutos para entrar.
También se realizó otra charla de uno de los juegos más punteros en el país del sol naciente, Monster Hunter Freedom 2 G para la portátil de Sony, presentado por su productor Ryouzou Tsujimoto.
