Entrevista a Ono (personajes de SFIV)

La siguiente parte de la entrevista a Ono en el especial SFIV de 1up se centra en los personajes de SFIV:

  • Aunque SFIII sigue siendo popular en los arcades japoneses y en los torneos como Evo, todo el mundo coincide que SSF2T es el rey de los SF, por eso quieren incluir su esencia y plantilla de personajes para usarla como base y actualizarla en SFIV.
  • Ono no quiere defraudar a aquellos que son fans de determinado personaje, por lo que hará lo todo lo que pueda para recuperar a todos los personajes.

  • Cuando hicieron la entrevista Chun-Li estaba en fase de diseño, discutiéndose cosas como si la cara se parecía lo suficiente al personaje o si los muslos eran suficientemente grandes. Para más detalles les remite a Ikeno.
  • Dice que le gustaría incluir a todos los personajes que pueda de los que debutaron en SSFII o SF Alpha, como Cammy o Sakura, pero actualmente se están centrando en incluir a los principales, los 12 personajes de SF2 Turbo (los 8 seleccionables + 4 jefes del SF2 original).
  • Dice que le gustaría incluir contra más personajes mejor, que los tiene encima de la mesa, pero que los principales son esos 12. Respecto a los demás, aunque algunos son de los favoritos, están en un segundo plano.
  • Para quien esté preocupado de que proporcionalmente en la lista de personajes hay sólo una mujer, dice que no sólo se piense en Cammy. Aunque no puede decir nada, la proporción de hombres y mujeres quedará más equilibrada con los personajes nuevos.
  • Sobre si habrán conexiones con Final Fight en SFIV, Ono dice que no habrá referencias directas. Aunque SF y FF están dentro del mismo universo no saben si pondrán ese tipo de cosas en este juego, ya que ahora están centrados en recuperar el feeling de SF2.
  • Shane dice que todos los fans esperan que Poison sea un personaje jugable[Risas], y pregunta si este personaje es un transexual operado o no[Mas Risas]. Ono dice que en la versión americana de Poison, de la que deben preocuparse, está operada[Más risas].
