Entrevista a Ono (sistema de juego de SFIV)

Cosas que se comentan en esta parte de la entrevista:

  • Aunque a Ono le encanta el sistema de parries, no encaja con la filosofía de SFIV.
  • No habrán parrys en SFIV, aunque se podrán hacer algunas cosas que se hacían con aquel sistema.
  • Se ha quitado porque era un gran obstáculo para los que no han jugado a juegos de lucha durante cierto tiempo.

  • El nuevo sistema que lo replaza permite hacer cosas similares pero ampliando mucho los horizontes de la gente, permitiendo más posibilidades a nivel jugable.
  • De las pocas cosas que están 100% seguros a nivel jugable es que habrá un sistema de venganza que permita al jugador que está recibiendo una paliza pueda remontar por hecho polvo que esté.
  • Quiere que las cosas estén interesantes y tensas hasta el último momento, que el que va ganando no se relaje ni que el que va perdiendo lo deje por imposible.
  • Dedicarán mucho tiempo del proyecto en equilibrar este sistema para que la gente no eche de menos a los parry.
  • No será cuestión de llenar la barra para hacer tal movimiento, será cuestión de ser habilidoso y saber usar las herramientas que tienes en el momento adecuado.
  • Lo bueno del sistema Saving es que podrá ser usado por todos: podrás gastar la barra de venganza con movimientos especiales EX (muy fáciles de hacer).
  • A la hora de dominarlo, sólo los más habilidosos podrán hacer cosas como fintas al cancelar un movimiento con otro y cosas por el estilo, ya que será muy flexible.
  • De esa forma abren la puerta a los novatos y a la vez dan nuevas herramientas a los jugadores más avanzados, que lo usarán de otra forma.
  • Sobre el online, si habrá customización, y cosas similares, SF4 tendrá una nueva forma de disfrutar el juego online, y parte de ello es que haya menos diferencia entre novatos y pro para que puedan jugar juntos. Contará más de esto en el 2008.
  • Ahora mismo el juego es muy rápido y no han decidido si lo dejarán así. Si ven que han de ponerlo más lento lo harán, y les será más fácil que hacerlo al revés.
  • Si una vez acabado el juego ven que hay alguna cosa que necesita ser re-equilibrada, la arreglarán mediante parches descargables (online).
  • No habrán agarres aéreos en general (sí para algún personaje en concreto).
  • Estan explorando diferentes formas para ver si cada personaje tienen un único ultra combo (SSF2T), o si puede usar varios a la vez(SF Alpha), o si sólo puede elegir uno entre varios(SF3), cambiar la selección en mitad de la partida etc.
  • Ono dice que no bromea cuando afirma que están sólo al 5% de desarrollo.
