Más información sobre el título en 2.5D para PSN (PS3) , XBLA (Xbox 360) y PC del Bionic Commando de NES. En primavera del 08 no sólo llegará a Japón, sinó que llegará también a occidente.
Contará con efectos de partículas, sombras dinámicas en tiempo real, la música original remezclada, escenarios destructibles, ranking on-line, y se podrán desbloquear cosas para el BC de 3D, como la versión del protagonista del juego con el diseño original como personaje controlable.
Habrán nuevos movimientos, nuevas armas (escopeta, granadas…), nuevas zonas ocultas y multiplayer cooperativo. Eso si, no habrá multi-jugador on-line. Han añadido más flexibilidad al gancho para darle un toque más acrobático y modos de juego no anunciados.
Son conscientes de que aunque la versión arcade apareció primero, la que realmente hizo popular al juego fué la de NES, por eso se centrarán más en ella. Además, opinan que la versión doméstica tenía unos enemigos más reconocibles y una historia memorable.
En la versión japonesa los enemigos eran nazis y su lider (y final boss) era Hitler. En la versión occidental esto fué suavizado, ya que fueros sustituidos por los Badds y Master-D respectivamente.
Además, en IGN han puesto una preview y mini-entrevista, y han publicado una galería de 20 capturas y 2 diseños de Toshiaki Mori (Shinkiro), uno de los Lead Artist de Capcom. También han añadido un primer trailer (link a versión en HD/720p cortesía de Gamersyde).
En el site oficial del juego han abierto una sección para Bionic Commando Rearmed, además de postear la noticia y poner un FAQ. En unas horas pondrán más capturas, videos, artwork y la banda sonora para escucharla. ¡Dentro de poco habrá más!
