DMC4 – Gamersyde entrevista a Kobayashi

Gamersyde es un site especialmente conocido por sus capturas de video y fotos de altísima calidad, siempre hechos a la resolución nativa (en general HD). Ellos le han hecho una entrevista al productor DMC4, revelando las siguientes cosas:

  •  La principal novedad respecto a DMC3 es Nero, ya que con su historia aporta más personajes a la saga, además de tener un nuevo sistema de combate. Dante recibe nuevas habilidades y armas.
  • Al desarrollar el juego con el engine MT Framework desde un PC para más tarde llevarlo a las consolas, les ha sido más fácil desarrollar para las consolas de nueva generación. Han contactado con las 1st party para solucionar algunos problemas iniciales.
  • Algunos desarrolladores viajaron a Italia, España y Turquía para documentarse sobre castillos, catedrales y otros grandes edificios de estilo arquitectónico gótico. Sus fotos y bocetos fueron usados para crear los escenarios del juego.
  • No habrá diferencias entre las versiones de PS3 y X360, tendrán el mismo contenido.
  • Cronológicamente DMC4 es el tercer juego. El orden es DMC3, DMC1, DMC4 y DMC2.
  • Los enemigos Marionettes y Scissor Sisters no aparecerán en DMC4. En cambio volverán Frost y Assault.
  • Habrán aproximadamente dos horas de escenas cinemáticas en DMC4.
  • Será el DMC con más personajes en la historia.
  • La progresión de las misiones, el sistema de grabado y de desbloqueos será similar al de DMC3.
  • No tienen planeado incluir modos de varios jugadores.
  • Piensa que en conjunto la saga ha sido un éxito, y si puede continuará haciendo nuevos capítulos de la misma.
