Demandan a Capcom por Dead Rising

Hace algunas semanas Capcom intentó utilizar algunas medidas preventivas con la productora MKR, que es la titular de los derechos de Dawn of the Dead, la segunda película de la saga de los muertos vivientes de George A. Romero.

Pero para la productora no han sido suficientes y desde Reuters sabemos que han demandado a Capcom por supuesto plagio o adaptación de esta obra maestra del cine de serie B, sin tener derechos de la película. Son muchas las similitudes entre la película y el juego tanto por la ubicación en un centro comercial, como el toque cómico que desprendía la película.

Mi opinión personal es la siguiente, es muy fácil decir que son ubicaciones muy habituales y que no es objeto de demanda, pero por lo menos yo, que soy un freak de Zombie (Dawn of the Dead), o el Amanecer de los Muertos (remake de Dawn of the Dead), se que que es innegable que se han basado en estas películas, aún sin tener los mismos protagonistas, cosa que me incita a comprar el juego y que me sienta más atraído hacia el.

Como ya digo es mi opinión, y este tema lo tendrán que resolver en los juzgados. Lo que puede ser posible que estando en esta situación una segunda parte se desvincule demasiado de la primera o tenga que retrasarse más de la cuenta por asuntos legales.

Como ya os hicimos saber, esta segunda parte no está anunciada de manera oficial por Capcom, y los últimos rumores que hay por internet asocian la la realización del juego con la compañía Blue Castle en Vancouver, formado or unas 100 personas y que está especializada en hacer juegos multi plataformas, como los juegos Bigs de 2k Sport.
