Después de unos días de su anuncio y algunas informaciones por parte del magazine Famitsu, por fin Capcom ha distribuído información detallada sobre esta edición de Lost Planet.
– Lost Planet: Colonies no será una secuela del anterior, si no una versión Platinum Hits del juego original, una versión especial del primer Lost Planet con contenido añadido.
– Su precio también será especial, ya que se venderá a precio reducido, unos 29,95$.
– Habrá tres modos de juego para el modo un jugador, seis nuevos modos de juego para el modo online, cuatro nuevos mapas para el multijugador, cuatro personajes nuevos (en los que se inclúyen dos chicas y dos robots), ocho nuevas armas, el juego online multiplatafeorma (Xbox -360 y PC) y la posibilidad a poner un punto de vista en primera persona, muy al estilo de Resident Evil 4.
– El juego tiene previsto salir el 28 de Mayo.
