Como cada viernes, hay noticias por el blog de Street Fighter IV, hoy el Sr. Shiozawa, a parte de comunicarnos que el anuncio de Sheng Long era un fake, anuncia que la sección de imágenes en la web del juego ha sido actualizada con las primeras imágenes de El Fuerte.

Es un personaje que no dejará indiferente a nadie y si no mirad las imágenes, tengo aún más ganas de tener este juego entre mis manos y jugar unas partiditas.

  1. Ken Masters the Best!

    El diseño de los nuevos personajes, principalmente Abel y El Fuerte son bastante pobres (sobretodo Abel, cuyo diseño e historia es patético). El único diseño espectacular era, lamentablemente, el de Sheng Long (era una broma), quien realmente tenía un aspecto de gran peleador. Hacen falta bastantes nuevos personajes, con diseños atractivos y buenas técnicas (ninjitsu, shaolin, kung fu, tai chi, etc), para hacer llamativo este juego. Sino, sólo habrá sido una larga espera para nada, un nuevo street fighter 2 sin nuevo guión, ni trama, ni buenos nuevos personajes.

  2. Comprendo y respeto tu opinión, aunque pienso (y deseo) que con el tiempo cambiará.

    Tal como ya pasó en su dia con Super Street Fighter II, los Street Fighter Alpha o los Street Fighter III, al ver los nuevos personajes de Street Fighter IV la primera sensación suele ser negativa, principalmente porque tenemos en un altar inalcanzable a los de Street Fighter II, y al compararlos no hay color.

    Pero tal como pasó con los personajes de esos juegos, contra más vemos a los nuevos personajes de SFIV más nos acostumbramos a ellos y más nos gustan (esto pasará más aún cuando juguemos con ellos, según la opinión general de los que han jugado al juego).

  3. Te argumento por qué Abel y El Fuerte son buenos diseños de personajes, porqué encajan al 100% con el estilo y la esencia de la saga Street Fighter, y porqué gustarán más a la gente en general que muchos personajes de Street Fighter III(creo que es una opinión sólida ya que trabajo profesionalmente haciendo videojuegos, y los juegos que hacemos son de lo mejor en crítica y ventas en su sector):

    ·Por un lado al igual que en Street Fighter II y al contrario que en Street Fighter III, los diseños son limpios, sencillos, genéricos, con muy pocos colores dominantes y pocos detalles. Esto facilita que la gente se sienta más identificados con ellos, y gusten más. La máscara también ayuda.

    ·Abel y El Fuerte al igual que muchos otros personajes de Street Fighter están basados en los luchadores reales más populares de su estilo de lucha(ver links de abajo), de los que heredan la apariencia.

    ·Físicamente no son freaks, tienen una buena apariencia física y una cara muy genérica cosa que ayuda a que guste a más gente. La máscara también ayuda a esto porque hace que la cara la imagine la gente y se identifique mejor. Es por esto que se suele tapar la cara de muchos protagonistas con cascos (Halo, Metroid, etc).

    ·Usan nuevas técnicas (lucha libre mejicana para El Fuerte y Sambo+Judo+MMA para Abel, ver links de abajo), no vistas en otros Street Fighter dando más variedad. Aunque el parecido entre las técnicas reales (karate, kickboxing etc) y su equivalente en Street Fighter suele variar, las respetan.

    · La lucha libre mejicana comparada con wrestling típica (Zangief etc), tiene muchas más piruetas, muchos ataques aéreos y es mucha más rápida (ver videos del link de abajo). Seguramente El Fuerte jugablemente se parecerá más al torero Vega o a El Stingray que a Zangief.

    · El hecho de que sus diseños de personajes tomen muchos elementos de anteriores personajes (ver links de abajo) de la saga y añada detalles nuevos hace que encajen mejor en el conjunto del juego y queden mejor integrados con el resto de personajes.

    · El Fuerte, al igual que la mayoría de personajes de Street Fighter o Final Fight está basado en un personaje sacado de películas de serie B, y tiene un componente kistch (al igual que un ninja-torero, un yogui que extiende extremidades, un tio verde con rasgos animales ¿mutado?etc).

    · Uno de los éxitos de Street Fighter II fué el tener personajes de todo tipo en cuanto a nacionalidades y arquetipos físicos, lo cual hacía que la gente se identificase con alguno de estos personajes. Con Abel y El Fuerte se hacen mejoras en este apartado:

    Por un lado, no había ningún rubio (si una rubia) europeo, o rubio con el pelo corto. Por ejemplo la cara de Abel personalmente me gusta porque me veo identificado, creo que se me parece un poco (dentro de poco vereis un par de fotos nuestras). Al igual que a mí, hará que gente de estos rasgos se vea identificada y le guste este personaje.

    Por otro lado, la gente latina estábamos representados por un indio nativo estadounidense (supongo que esto fué motivo de que los mejicanos se viesen ofendidos), un personaje excesivamente estereotipado (a los españoles no nos gusta que los extranjeros sólo vean toros y paella en nosotros), un freak -Blanka- y un principiante -Sean- que usa una técnica usada ya por demasiados personajes en la saga. Faltaba alguien más “normal”, que se hiciese respetar.

    · Por último, parece que El Fuerte será un personaje “humorístico” tipo Dan, lo cual faltaba en SF2, SF3 o SF4.

  4. Respecto a meter más personajes nuevos tranquilo, que el productor Ono dijo en entrevistas habrán más, los van anunciando poco a poco por estrategia de márketing.

    Además, para la versión de consola dijo que habrán más personajes nuevos adicionales, además de quizá algunos personajes de SFAlpha o SFIII. Y obviamente más tarde sacarán nuevas versiones de SFIV con personajes nuevos (como han hecho con SFAlpha, SF2, SF3…) o los pondrán via contenido descargable.

    Personalmente estoy de acuerdo que entre estos personajes nuevos tienen que meter un nuevo ninja (me encantaría ver a Geki de SF1, Zeku el maestro de Guy o el compañero de Ibuki) y un monje Shaolin.

    Respecto a la historia del juego y de los personajes, de momento sólo se han enseñado algunas pinceladas, se mostrará detalladamente más adelante. Ono también dijo que se revelaría más adelante por la misma estrategia de márketing antes mencionada.

    Quieren repartir la información a lo largo del tiempo. para tener una mayor presencia en la prensa, llegando así mejor a la gente y pudiéndolo detallar mejor. Si enseñan todo de golpe hay elementos que se pasan por alto y que cuesta recordar, lo hacen por eso.
