MotoGP exclusivo para Capcom hasta el 2012

Capcom tendrá la exclusiva de los derechos para hacer videojuegos sobre el mundial de motociclismo MotoGP en todas las plataformas durante los próximos 5 años. Anteriormente Capcom ya lanzó MotoGP 07, pero sólo para PS2.

Para otras plataformas los derechos eran de Namco y THQ. Capcom ya ha anunciado que de momento lanzará MotoGP 08 para Xbox360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PC y teléfonos móviles.

Comentando el anuncio Mark Beaumont, vice presidente ejecutivo y jefe de la publicación de sofware de Capcom en America y Europa dijo en Jerez (España), donde se hizo público el acuerdo:

“Estamos realmente emocionados de haber firmado este contrato a largo plazo con Dorna Sports, lo que por vez primera concede los derechos multiplataforma del frenético mundo del MotoGP a nivel mundial a una única empresa.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, presidente de Dorna Sports, empresa que cuenta con la exclusiva de todos los derechos comerciales de TV para MotoGP comenta: “Capcom ya ha demostrado su habilidad haciendo un juego que captura la esencia de MotoGP y somos optimistas al trabajar con ellos durante los próximos 5 años.”

Esperemos que el español Ezpeleta le enseñe español para que traduzcan Okami y matemáticas a Michael Pattison de Capcom Europa (ambos en la foto). Porque si no saben que el Ace Attorney 3 va antes que el 4, quizá tenga problemas al saber que Moto GP 08 va antes que el Moto GP 09.
