Captivate ’08: Capcom anuncia Spyborgs para Wii

Hace ya tiempo que se venía rumoreando que la la third-party Bionic Games estaba realizando una nueva nueva licencia para Wii en colaboración con Capcom, y ya se puede hablar de Spyborgs como ese esperado título para los usuarios de la máquina de Nintendo.

El juego se basa en un grupo de superhéroes los cuales tendrán que ir colaborando con otros y utilizar sus habilidades en las diferentes ubicaciones; así que la IA de la consola se encargará de controlar a nuestros compañeros si estos no son controlados por otro jugador.

Si da la casualidad que uno de los personajes muere, nos darán la posibilidad de cambiar al personaje por nuestra voluntad. El juego lo controlaremos mediante el mando y el Nunchaku.

Bionic Games no ha anunciado la lista de héroes que podremos escoger, en el trailer que podéis ver aquí, se pueden ver a un niño DJ que utiliza un holograma tocadiscos, una ninja y un robot llamado Bouncer.

Se han podido ver escenas del juego en que los jugadores van colaborando para acceder a zonas o para destruir a enemigos. El lemento de acción también está presente recordando mucho a Ratchet & Clank, recordemos que miembros de esta compañía trabajaron en su día en el juego. También parece que se van a incluir minijuegos, como uno muy parecido al Boxeo de Wii Sports.

La estética del juego está basada en historietas y parece ser que Capcom los eligió a ellos como desarrolladora por que eran los idóneos en representar el mundo de las películas, televisión, dibujos animados o videoclips. Está realizado para un mercado infantil, como se puede ver en el vídeo, suponemos que la consola Wii era la mejor opción para sacar este tipo de juego.

De momento han dicho que su fecha de salida está prevista para el año que viene, justificando que aún queda mucho desarrollo por delante.
