Después de su anuncio hace pocas semanas, Megaman 9 ha sido el tema de conversación en muchos foros y muchas webs del sector videojueguil.

En Capcom Town queremos hacer una recopilación de todos los datos dichos hasta el momento, así como las imágenes más recientes, sobretodo para aclarar así la información oficial de los diversos rumores que han ido apareciendo. La mayoría de la información pertenece a una entrevista de Keiji Inafune en exclusiva a Games Radar; empecemos:

– El juego vuelve ha sus raíces clásicas después de 11 años, recordemos que la última incursión fue Megaman 8 en su versión de Saturn en Enero de 1997, un mes mes después de la versión de Playstation.

– El título íntegro del juego es Rockman 9: Revival of the Ambition.

– Por el momento, y de manera oficial, el juego es exclusivo para el Wiiware de Wii, ya que creen que es el mejor formato para realizar el experimento.

Se ha especulado con que el juego saldrá también tanto en PS Network como en el Live Arcade de XBox-360, pero nose sabe nada hasta hoy, así como las mejoras del juego en estos dos formatos de descarga.

– El juego saldrá en el mes de Septiembre, suponemos que solo en Japón y que no tardarán mucho en salir las versiones occidentales. En total tres meses desde el anuncio del juego. Mientras que Rockman y Rockman 2 saldrán en la consola Virtual japonesa en los meses de Julio y Agosto respectivamente.

– Megaman 9 saldrá a un precio de 1000 Wii points, unos 10$ aproximadamente.

– Han vuelto a dotarle de un aire retro ya que estaban descontentos de las últimas sagas de Rockman, ya que se distanciaban de las raíces que le hicieron triunfar en la Famicom; queriendo así devolver el interés sobre el carismático personaje.

– El juego mantiene las características de los anteriores juegos, derrota de jefes, robarles sus armas y utilizarlas contra otros jefes que sean vulnerables a esta. La dificultad también se ha mantenido igual, siendo el juego bastante difícil, los chicos de Games Radar jugaron unas 2 horas y unicamente pudieron enfrentarse a tres jefes.

– Capcom no ha distribuído imágenes de los diversos jefes del juego, unicamente sus nombres y en el que encontramos al primer jefe mujer, Splash Woman, diseñado por el propio Inafune.

– El juego incluirá una tienda (Dr. Light Shop) en la que podremos comprar objetos, como unas botas, potenciar nuestras armas, e incluso tendremos acceso a una nueva armadura que potenciará nuestra defensa. Y por primera vez, tendremos la opción de jugar sin casco.

– La mayoría de la música que reproduce el juego está basada en Megaman 2, así como algunos enemigos.

– Tendremos acceso a Rush Coil desde el principio del juego.

– Hay otras opciones nuevas, pero por el momento no han salido a la luz, aunque la semana próxima harán incapié a estas así como a otras cosas referente al juego, durante el E3.

– Otros juegos de Capcom se han hecho eco de la salida del juego, como podemos ver en la siguiente imagen de Bionic Comando Rearmed, ¿casualidad?.
