También dice que lo sacan para esta consola debido al sorprendente gran éxito de Resident Evil 4, debido a que era un port mejorado de GameCube. En el juego habrán items y enemigos nuevos, además de usar la cámara y un control similar a RE4.

La versión de Wii no incluirá el Photo Mode, y sustituirá la mecánica de tiempo limitado pudiendo elegir las misiones al momento por las típicas misiones separadas jugadas de forma secuencial.
