Primeramente se tenía pensado lanzar este juego en invierno del 2008, ahora ya hay una fecha exacta para la salida de Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop en Japón; será el próximo 19 de Febrero.
Esperemos que para entonces puedan paliar muchos errores gráficos y jugables que tenía el juego en las últimas demos mostradas, aunque lo señores de Capcom no parecen arriesgar mucho cn el juego ya que han reducido sus ventas estimadas a 500.000 copias en todo el mundo.
Esta poca confianza en el juego dentro de un inmenso mercado de consolas vendidas de Wii, hace pensar que el cambio de fecha es debido a no querer competir con otros grandes juegos de la competencia en estas navidades.
