Entrevista : Dee Jay, T.Hawk y Street Fighter IV’ Champion Edition

En una reciente entrevista a Famitsu, el carismático productor de Street Fighter IV, Yoshinori Ono, ha hablado sobre algunos personajes que se descartaron para el juego, y sobre cómo seleccionaron a algunos que finalmente tiene.

Dice que se quedó con las ganas de incluir a Rolento, que no lo incluyeron porque pertenecía a la licencia de Final Fight, la cual actualmente en manos de Capcom USA y no tenían previsto usar para este capítulo.

El personaje que más le sorprendió incluir fué Dan, ya que aunque le gustaba la idea desde el principio inicialmente no lo tenían previsto poner, pero acabaron metiéndolo porque se lo pidió mucha gente.

El equipo de desarrollo también quería incluir a T.Hawk y Dee Jay, pero como no tenían tiempo para incluir a todos los de Super Street Fighter II Turbo hicieron una encuesta para que lo decidiesen los jugadores, la cual ganaron Cammy y Fei Long.

Yoshinori Ono es un tio de puta madre

De forma que T.Hawk y Dee Jay se quedaron fuera, pese que ya los habían modelado y habían empezado a texturizar. Incluso T. Hawk ya tenía algunos ataques funcionando.

Ono afirma que si los usuarios hacen oir su voz pidiendo a estos personajes, Capcom finalizará su trabajo con estos luchadores para poder incluirlos más adelante.

Lo mismo dice acerca de sacar un Street Fighter IV’ Champion Edition, que a él le encantaría y que lo harán si hay la suficiente demanda por parte de los fans.

Ha anunciado que en primavera del 2009 llegará la primera ampliación vía descarga gratuita con el Modo Championship, el cual ampliará las posibilidades de las partidas online añadiendo nuevos elementos como los torneos.
