Por fin ya se ha hecho oficial, y en multitud de sites se han mostrado entrevistas y primeros datos sobre el juego. Hemos peinado la red, en busca de todos los detalles posibles que sólo se encuentran en tal o cual sitio, los cuales tras contrastarlos y resumirlos os mostramos a continuación:

Datos principales

El juego NO saldrá como contenido de descarga. Saldrá a la venta en disco a precio reducido a nivel mundial en primavera de 2010 (tenemos confirmación oficial de que en Europa también) para PS3 y Xbox360. Están en las fases finales de su desarrollo.

No será necesario tener el disco del SFIV original para jugar, pero habrá una pequeña sorpresa para quienes compren SSFIV ya teniendo la anterior versión.

De la versión de PC no se sabe nada, aunque lo lógico es que la lanzasen pero unos meses después de la de consola.

Aunque al principio parecía que sólo iba a salir en versión doméstica, parece que -aunque no está 100% confirmado- al final también saldrá para arcades.

Han preferido llamarlo Super Street Fighter IV y no Street Fighter IV Dash o algo así por la gran cantidad de contenido -especialmente en número de personajes nuevos- que aportará el juego, el cual va mucho más allá de algunos retoques en la jugabilidad para re-balancearlo.

Personajes

Volverán los 25 personajes de la versión doméstica de SFIV, los cuales serán rebalanceados y recibirán nuevos movimientos entre ellos más Ultra Combos.

A estos personajes se añadirán un mínimo de 8 personajes que retornarán de otros Street Fighter y otras sagas del univers de Capcom, entre los que de momento se han confirmado oficialmente a Dee Jay y T.Hawk.

Además, habrán varios personajes totalmente nuevos. De momento se ha confirmado a Juri, una coreana que practica Taekwondo, trabaja para S.I.N., tiene un ojo artificial y que cuenta con gran importancia en la historia del juego. Ono afirma que se han basado en el feedback de los fans para elegir los personajes a incluir, aparte de los que no tuvieron tiempo de meter en SFIV.

Afirma que son conscientes de que defraudaron a los fans al no incluir personajes de Street Fighter III en SFIV, y deja entrever que incluirán al personaje más pedido en el blog japonés (la hija de Gouken).

El final boss continuará siendo Seth, quien será más difícil, aunque no tan injusto. Afirma que no hará falta luchar tantas veces contra él para ganarle.

Todos los personajes del juego estarán desbloqueados desde el principio, dice que hay otras cosas para desbloquear.

Fases de bonus

En algunas entrevistas de SFIV dejó entrever que iban a incluir fases de bonus en la versión doméstica, aunque al final no pudieron hacerlo por falta de tiempo. En el caso de la versión arcade fué por quejas de los dueños de los salones.

Esta vez el equipo se siente muy presionado por los fans de SF2, y aunque de momento no puede confirmarlo, parece que  esta vez puede haber una sorpresa familiar en forma de objetos rodantes que caen desde arriba… (Nota de Yurinka : ¿fase de bonus de barriles confirmada?)

Modos de juego

Mejorarán especialmente el online, tanto a nivel de rendimiento como especialmente a nivel de contenidos según las peticiones de los fans. Deja entrever que tendrá un lobby para poder jugar contra más de una persona, y un modo espectador para ver los combates de otros luchadores.

En el modo historia cambiarán los openings y endings para la historia de todos los personajes, ya que son “lo suficientemente hombres” para admitir la baja calidad de las escenas de anime de SFIV.

También cambiarán algunas de las frases que se dicen los personajes mientras luchan contra su rival en el modo historia, y añadirán nuevas.

No habrá un modo de juego con toques RPG al estilo de World Tour de Street Fighter Alpha 3 porque necesitaría demasiado presupuesto.

Escenarios, músicas y menús

Los escenarios recibirán algunos retoques, y aunque Ono aún no puede asegurarlo, deja entrever que habrán otros nuevos.

Saben que la canción de Indestructible no quedaba bien. La cambiarán. Habrán nuevas canciones, como un remix estilo SFIV del tema de T.Hawk que puede escucharse en alguno de los videos aqui posteados.

Si en la anterior entrega los menús contaban con toques de brochazos sumi-e, ahora contarán con el estilo de bocetos con lápiz de color, supuestamente reminiscente de los artworks de Super Street Fighter II.

Están retocando los marcadores del juego, en especial el de los Ultra. Curiosamente en algunas capturas aún se ven los de Street Fighter IV.

Futuros juegos

Cuando Ono propuso hacer SFIV y volver a los orígenes de la saga, los jefes de Capcom lo tacharon de loco. Inafune fué de los pocos que le apoyó. Con el enorme éxito tanto de ventas como de crítica les ha dado reconocimiento de Capcom para hacer más juegos de lucha.

Ono está muy agradecido a los fans y a los medios por la gran acogida del juego después de tantos años. Se siente orgulloso y conmovido.

Es pronto para hablar de Street Fighter V o Street Fighter VI, pero si le toca SFV a Ono, seguirá la ruta de SFIV: jugabilidad accesible y fácil de aprender para los novatos pero lo suficientemente compleja para dejar margen de mejora a los hardcore.

Tras Super Street Fighter IV, a Ono le gustaría traer de vuelta a Darkstalkers (Jeux Actu se ha “equivocado” con su traducción al francés sustituyendo a Darkstalkers por Capcom vs SNK 3), el cual es muy demandado por los fans en las convenciones. Por lo que pide a los fans de esta saga que empiecen a enviar mails a Capcom y mensajes a los foros.
